WWII USMC MARKED POUCH FOR MODEL 1911 AUTOMATIC PISTOL MAGAZINES: CAME TO US STRAIGHT FROM THE FAMILY
WWII USMC Marked Magazine Pouch Remains in Overall GOOD CONDITION Showing Light to Moderate Signs of Age, Wear and Use. This item came to us about two months ago DIRECTLY from the son of the Marine who carried it. He informed us that his father served in WWII and into the Korean War era as well. The Marines information was written down by his son and can be seen in the photos below. Also of interest is the USN MKI fighting knife that we currently have listed in this section was carried in WWII by the father in law of the gentleman that we obtained this piece from. His father in law was a SEABEE that served in the Philippines and China during the war. This pouch does show clearly visible signs of use, but remains VERY solid and undamaged. There is light to moderate scattered soiling as well as staining and some dirt can still be seen on the piece. USMC, Maker and Date Markings to the rear are faded, but can be seen under close inspection. Brass “lift the dot” snap and stud function perfectly and remain undamaged. A nice piece that comes to you directly from the Marine’s family via Old Patriot Militaria.
