WWII Theater Made “Dog Tag” of US Navy SEABEE William Edward Burnham, “A” Company, 73rd Construction Battalion. Very Good to Excellent Condition. Burnham entered the US Navy in 1942 and research finds him training at Williamsburg, Virginia in December of 1942. The 73rd Construction Battalion was a HARD fighting, hard working unit that saw extensive service in the South Pacific, having over a DOZEN members killed in action. The 73rd saw service at Guadalcanal, New Caledonia, Munda Point, Palau, Peleliu, Banika Islands, Russell Islands and New Georgia Islands. William Edward Burnham with with them every step of the way.
