DETAILED DESCRIPTION:

WWII 1938 Dated Russian Tula Arsenal Manufactured Mosin-Nagant Model 91/30 Bolt Action Rifle Chambered in 7.62×54 Rimmed.  Rifle remains in overall GOOD CONDITION showing visible signs of age, wear, use and long term storage. NO rust, corrosion or damage to any of the metal portions of the weapon with the finish showing only light to moderate storage wear. Action remains very smooth and rather tight. Trigger pull is exactly as it should be and the weapon cycles cartridges perfectly. Safety functions correctly as does the magazine follower and ejector. BORE remains in GOOD to VERY GOOD Condition showing strong, clearly visible lands and grooves to the rifling. No visible fouling or other issues, but the bore does show some light signs of having fired military grade ammunition of the period. Wood shows clearly visible signs of age, wear and use with scattered “bumps and bruises” throughout. NO readily apparent cracks, splits or separations, but does show darkening and wear from handling. Wood does NOT appear to have ever been refinished. We see absolutely no reason that this rifle could not be a “shooter,” but as with all vintage weapons, it is good idea to have it inspected by a gunsmith prior to firing it. Rifle comes with 20 rounds of 1975 dated Polish military surplus 7.62x54R “silver tip” ammunition. You will receive the UNOPENED packet of ammunition that you see in the photos. The opened packet is just for you to see what the ammo looks like. From what we have read about this ammunition, it is pretty darn awesome and of excellent quality. While this rifle is by no means a “show piece” or an advanced collector grade example. It is a very nice example for the entry level collector, to have as a “shooter” or perhaps even as a “place holder” in your collection until you can find a better one. Heck, the ammo alone sells for at least $1 per round online and we are including it as well as a brand new cable lock and gun sock at NO extra charge!
