SCARCE SET: WWII MKII HAND GRENADE WITH M10A2 FUZE & M41A1 SHIPPING CANISTER: YELLOW PAINT VISIBLE – 100% INERT – USA SALES ONLY!

WWII MKII Hand Grenade With M10A2 Fuze Remains in Overall FAIR to GOOD Condition showing clearly visible signs of age, wear and long term storage under less than perfect conditions. Body of the MKII body appears to have been lacquered or shellacked a long time ago, but the YELLOW ring to the neck as well as some yellow paint to the body remains clearly  visible. Body markings to the grenade a “A-F,” “3,” & “C,” which remain clearly visible as well and are actually easier to read in person than in the photos. The fuze shows age and wear as well with light rust visible to the ring of the pin and some small bends near the end of the spoon. Some of the markings to the spoon are marred as well, but remain visible. The M41A1 Canister remains in overall GOOD Condition, but does show visible signs of age, wear and use. Some very light surface rust is visible to one of the metal caps and some light discoloration from water is also visible to the body under close inspection. However, the canister remains VERY solid and is NOT fragile. Overall, this is a rather SCARCE set as we do not see the M10A2 Fuzes very often nor do we hardly every find the M41A1 Canisters. We mostly find the canisters marked “grenade.” So, in our opinion, to find an M41A1 with a MKII and an M10A2 Fuze, is quite a pleasant surprise for the ordnance collector. While by no means perfect, this does remain a rather attractive and impressive set that we are confident that you will be pleased with and happy to add to your collection. Especially for the price!
