WWII GERMAN M24 STIELHANDGRANATE / STICK GRENADE WOODEN HANDLE: 1940 DATE

Stick grenade wooden handle with metal end caps remains in overall GOOD to VERY GOOD Condition showing light to moderate signs of age, wear and use. Completely inert item with no caps, charging cord or anything other than what you see in the photos. Maintains steel, threaded end cap to the business end and aluminum cap to the charging end. Steel cap remains in very good condition showing no damage of any sort. Threads remain clean, clear and are not marred or obscured. Aluminum end shows wear, minor damage and corrosion that can be seen in the photos. Wood bears a “40” date that remains visible, but a portion of the maker’s stamp is worn and difficult to read. The wooden handle remains perfectly straight with NO cracks, splits, chips or other other blemishes other than wear from handling and long term storage. Overall a nice piece that should match up nicely with an original charge.
