Description
WWI – WWII ERA SWEDISH M1914 BAYONET FOR THE M1894 / M1914 MAUSER CARBINE & THE 9mm SWEDISH-K SUBMARCHINE GUN
This M1914 Bayonet is a Beautiful Example in Truly Excellent Condition. It honestly looks better in person that it does in the photos. Shows only very light signs of age and storage wear with a few light drag scratches to the blade finish, but appears otherwise unissued. Blade is “two-toned,” starting off with a blued appearance near the ricasso and blending into a mirror bright finished blade. Absolutely no flaws to the blade and the tip remains very sharp. Scabbard latch functions perfectly as does the locking button for the bayonet lug. Scabbard remains in Excellent Condition as well. Measures overall 18.125 inches in length with the blade measuring 13.123 inches. Blade is marked “EJ AB” indicating that it was manufactured by Eskilstuna Jernmanufactur AB (Eskilstuna Iron Manufacturing, Inc.). According to worldbayonets.com the M1914 bayonet was “. . . used by the Swedish Army with the 6.5 mm M/1894-14 Mauser Carbine. This bayonet also mounts to the 9 mm Carl Gustaf Kulsprutepistol M/1945C (Submachine Gun m/1945C), known in the USA as the Swedish-K.” Overall, this is truly a beautiful example in unissued, unused condition that we are very confident you will be pleased with.
