Description
WWII GERMAN 1939 PATTERN SILVER WOUND BADGE
World War Two German silver wound badge remains in overall good condition showing some visible traces of original silver finish. This 1939 Pattern, solid back example consists of zinc obverse with lead filled reverse, all over-washed in silver. As is common with the 1939 pattern examples, much of the silver over-wash is no longer present. Rear is maker marked L/16 for Steinhauer & Luck. Pin and clasp remain firmly in place and function correctly. Very solid, heavy example that displays nicely and is priced to sell!
